In today's blog I will discuss the material about Descriptive Text 

Museum Louvre Paris 

The Louvre Museum) is one of the largest most visited art museums and a historical monument in the world. The Louvre Museum is located in the Rive Droite Seine, the first Arrondissement in Paris, France.

The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace (Palais du Louvre) which was originally a fortress built in the 12th century under the reign of Philip II. The remains of the fortress can be seen in the museum basement. This building was expanded several times to form the Louvre Palace as it is now

The museum opened on August 10, 1793 with 537 paintings on display. The majority of the work was obtained from church and royal property confiscated by the French Government. Due to structural problems with the building, the museum was closed in 1796 to 1801.
